COMMON QUESTIONS AND STORE POLICIES
HOW OFTEN ARE NEW ITEMS ADDED?
We work in small batches and create one of a kind items for either our website, online markets, or in person local shops. We give our Facebook friends and family group, ongoing sneak peeks leading up to new items being added.
WHY ARE THE FABRICS OR SIZING LIMITED?
Most of our fabrics are imported from Europe which make availability and reordering challenging. This makes what we offer often times one of a kind and limits our ability to provide custom orders. We strongly believe in the quality of the fabrics we order. If you see something you like, it is best to grab it, because you may not see it again! We give our Facebook friends and family group options for custom ordering (when available).
WHAT IS CPSC COMPLIANCE?
We are proud to say we are CPSC compliant. The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission regulates the manufacturing of children’s clothing and toys. We are registered with and meet all the requirements to be compliant. Most of our fabrics are high quality European produced knit fabrics, primarily organic and/or Oeko-Tex 100 certified free from harmful substances.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Shipping
All items are ready to ship and will ship via USPS within 1-2 days of purchase.
Shipping is $4.99 for 1st class and $8.15 for USPS priority and you can add on shipping insurance during checkout.
Made to order items in markets or our VIP group will have a stated turned around time in when to expect items to ship.
Returns
You may return any item within 10 days after it has arrived, of unused and in new condition items. Shipping costs to, and in return, will be the responsibility of the buyer unless we have made an error on your order. We do not accept returns on custom made items (unless the error is ours).
Because we are a small family business we ask that you carefully consider your purchase and reason for return. That being said, we want you to be confident and happy, so please let us know as soon as possible if there are any problems with your order.
CARE INSTRUCTION
All fabrics are prewashed with no detergent in warm water and tumbled dry to prevent shrinkage before they are sewn.
All items are sewn in a smoke free, but cat friendly home. Although we take precautions, we want you to be aware of their presence if you are at all sensitive to it. We do pre-wash/dry fabrics to rinse any manufacturing/shipping residue and avoid any shrinkage, but we do not use detergent in the cycle.
We recommend washing on a gentle cycle in either warm or cold, with no bleach, and tumbled dry on low or line dry. If you find the need or desire to iron we recommend a low setting.
Washing instructions are included on the permanent clothing tags, and fabric content is located on the items hanging tag. Check out our blog post here on clothing care and extending it’s wear.
Sizing
We try to find patterns that are “true to size” of any listed size, but for the best fit we ask that you measure your (or your child’s) height, waist, and chest to locate your size in the charts provided.
Our grow-with-me had cuffs and waistbands that can be folded accommodate a more extended size range.
Do you do Custom orders?
We don’t take regular custom orders, but on a rare occasion may offer the option to our friends and family Facebook group.
